SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level
As a SME Radio Frequency Engineer - Mid Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be required to:
Perform RF assembly of components, subassemblies, and test fixtures using coax and waveguide connections, and precision mechanical integration.
Assist in the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
Conduct measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
Support senior engineers in the design and prototyping of RF systems.
Prepare documentation, including test results, assembly procedures, and calibration data.
Participate in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of RF performance issues.
Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment calibration records.

Experience and Qualifications To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience
Three (3) years of experience as an RF Assembler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration/Networking, Electronics, or related discipline from an accredited college.
Three (3) years of additional RF Assembler experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience conducting measurements using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
Experience with the testing, tuning, and validation of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
Telework/Remote Availability No telework approved at this time.
Work Location(s) Annapolis Junction, MD
Pay Range $70,500 – $83,000 per year.
Expected Closure Date Applications for this position will be accepted through January 2, 2026.
