A prominent Minneapolis law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join their banking team. Ideal candidates will have experience with bankruptcy, lending, workouts, and banking regulations. The firm offers excellent compensation, benefits, and bonuses.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on bankruptcy, creditors' remedies, workouts, and regulatory banking matters.
Draft and negotiate restructuring agreements and plans of reorganization.
Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic advice on complex bankruptcy matters.
Manage all phases of bankruptcy litigation, including discovery, motions, and trials.
Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals in restructuring transactions.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in MN or ability to get licensed within one year of employment.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate bankruptcy law, with a focus on workouts and restructuring.
In‑depth knowledge of banking regulations at the state and federal level.
