Our client, a leading American fashion retailer, is looking for a temporary Senior Designer to join their San Francisco team for 3 months!
Base pay range $53.00/hr - $55.00/hr
Administrative Assistant at Career Group's Fourth Floor | HRIP Certified Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design seasonal collections based on current trends / brand identity.
Create sketches in Adobe Illustrator, technical drawings, and digital renderings of designs (CAD) and detailed tech packs for production teams.
Select fabrics, materials, color palettes, trims, and finishes suitable for garments for each collection.
Collaborate with pattern makers and product development teams to ensure fit and construction accuracy.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and consumer preferences.
Attend fittings and ensure quality standards are met. Must be able to adjust designs as needed and oversee sample development.
Work closely with merchandising and sales teams to align designs with market needs.
Ensure all designs meet brand quality, sustainability, and cost requirements.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
