About the Role Temporary role through mid-March 2026 | Requires 3 days/week onsite in Cupertino, CA

Monks is looking for a Senior UI/UX Digital Designer to support our client’s digital experience initiatives. This role focuses on responsive web design, UI craft, interaction design, and user‑centered problem solving, contributing to product interfaces and marketing experiences for one of the world’s most recognizable brands.

You’ll work closely with designers, producers, content teams, and developers across global time zones to deliver high‑quality interface design and iterative prototypes that elevate the user experience.

Role & Responsibilities Design clean, responsive web and product interfaces grounded in UX/UI best practices.

Create wireframes, high‑fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and user flows using Sketch and Principle.

Translate business requirements into intuitive layouts, information architecture, and interaction patterns.

Collaborate with art directors, product partners, and developers to refine and implement design solutions.

Apply accessibility standards, ensuring designs meet AA‑level usability and inclusivity expectations.

Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, and cross‑channel visual consistency.

Iterate quickly based on feedback, data, and testing results—balancing speed, quality, and attention to detail.

Ensure pixel‑perfect execution and maintain organized files, layers, and documentation for handoff.

Participate in cross‑functional reviews, representing the design team with clear rationale and communication.

Requirements 5+ years experience in UI/UX or digital product design, with a portfolio demonstrating: user‑centered interface solutions, clear interaction and prototyping work, and advanced proficiency in Sketch (required) and Principle for interaction prototyping.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how design decisions translate into development.

Solid grasp of UX/UI principles, information architecture, design systems, and accessibility.

Ability to efficiently handle multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and high‑volume iteration.

Experience collaborating across disciplines—design, product, engineering, and marketing.

Strong communication skills, thoughtful design rationale, and comfort working with global teams.

Bonus Skills Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator for light visual asset creation or enhancement.

Familiarity with motion design (After Effects, Lottie) for interaction or micro‑animation.

Background in high‑velocity A/B testing environments.

Salary Range: $85,000—$110,000 USD
