Base pay range:
$80,000 - $120,000/yr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on complex integrations, guiding smaller teams.
Develop and program AV control systems (e.g., QSC, Extron, Crestron).
Configure and optimize audio, video, and networked components for integrated systems.
Collaborate with project engineers, managers and customers to translate drawings into executable code.
Support on‑site commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing of control systems.
Create user interfaces and touch panel layouts that are intuitive.
Document code, system configurations, and change logs.
Support post‑installation service, remote troubleshooting, and customer training.
Maintain awareness of emerging AV technologies and programming standards.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience programming and commissioning AV control systems.
Proficiency in at least one major control platform.
Strong understanding of audio/video signal flow, network fundamentals, and device protocols (TCP/IP, RS‑232, IR).
Ability to read system drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with technical and non‑technical audiences.
Preferred Experience
Q‑SYS control programming.
DSP configuration (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.).
AV‑over‑IP systems with converged networks.
Knowledge of scripting languages (C#, Python, Lua).
