The Experiential Marketing Account Director will manage client accounts, oversee project and account management, and drive new business opportunities within a hybrid work environment with occasional travel and on‑site event attendance.
Responsibilities
Builds and maintains client relationships and expands business with existing clients.
Manages one or more accounts and provides high‑quality services to clients, individually and through oversight of project managers or teams.
Prepares and assists in the presentation of proposals and program recommendations.
Manages the team, including recommending employment and compensation actions, training and development, and building teamwork and effective communication.
Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, including quality, finance and human resources.
Works with Corporate Service departments to provide team members with proper equipment and working conditions.
Manages account team financial performance to meet established goals.
Completes additional duties as assigned.
Adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and all other company policies, procedures and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Principles of marketing communications, normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree.
Six to eight years of experience in marketing, experiential events, brand positioning, public relations or related fields.
Analytical skills to manage financial aspects of account relationships, study industry trends, research competitive issues and make client recommendations.
Accomplished written communication skills for proposals, presentations, press releases and other materials.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal communication skills necessary to build and maintain effective client relationships and lead project teams.
Ability to handle multiple project elements.
Supervisory skills necessary to lead and manage a team.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
Experience: At least six to eight years of relevant professional experience.
Travel: Requires travel and/or weekend and evening hours. Will also require occasional all‑day attendance at outdoor, on‑site event locations.

The company is currently working on a hybrid basis; however, some in‑office days (Dearborn, MI) will be required.
Salary range starts at $75,000.00 annually – negotiable based on experience.
This is a U.S. based/Michigan based position.
