DanceBUG Inc. is hiring: Sports Videographer/Camera Operator in Philadelphia

Duration: February - June 2026

Compensation: $150-$400/Day + Travel Pay + All Expenses

The Role

We are searching for passionate and skilled Videographers/Camera Operators to join our dynamic seasonal team. You'll have the opportunity to travel across the U.S. capturing and streaming dance competitions, recitals, and workshops, ensuring high-quality media is delivered to dance studios and participants nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site
• Conduct daily video/audio checks to guarantee broadcast quality
• Film and log performances, manage live streams, and upload daily footage
• Handle data transfers (FTP/shipping) after events
• Travel nationwide by car or plane to assigned venues

Requirements

• Experience in filming live events, sports, or action performances
• Strong technical skills with camera operation (exposure, white balance, audio)
• Able to lift 50 lbs, work 12-16 hour days, and travel Thursday-Monday as needed
• Must reside within 1 hour of an airport and possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work
• Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check

Key Dates

Virtual Training: 1 day each week in January (4 days total)

Infield Training: 2 sessions at actual events in January and February

Event Dates:

• February 27 - March 1, March 6-8, March 13-15, March 20-22, March 27-29
• April 10-12, April 17-19, April 24-26
• May 1-3, May 8-10, May 15-17, May 29-31
• June 5-7
