Join Best Buy as our Advertising Testing and Experimentation Manager, where you will lead innovative and data-driven media experiments across our retail media network both onsite and offsite. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with diverse teams including product, analytics, marketing, and media operations, as well as external partners. Your main goal will be to develop a detailed experimentation roadmap that uncovers actionable insights and informs strategic decisions aimed at improving customer engagement and advertiser results.

This position is hybrid, requiring a blend of onsite presence at the Best Buy location provided and virtual work from home or other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and analysis of a comprehensive media experimentation roadmap across various channels including onsite, offsite, and in-store.
  • Create statistically robust A/B, holdout, and multivariate tests to assess the effectiveness of advertising strategies and creative content.
  • Collaborate with analytics and media teams to ensure precise execution of experiments and measurement accuracy.
  • Effectively translate complex data results into clear, actionable insights that shape media strategy and product development.
  • Work closely with product managers, media planners, and partners to align testing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous learning across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in media analytics, experimentation, or digital marketing.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with statistical testing and media measurement.
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms such as DSPs, Google Ads, and retail media networks for at least 2 years.
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization tools like SQL, R, Python, Tableau, or Looker for 2 years.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and experimentation platforms.
  • Understanding of agile development cycles and their application in experimentation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
