Your New Role

We are on the lookout for an on-site Audio Visual Integration Technician. In this role, you'll be pivotal in installing state-of-the-art displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and teleconferencing systems in various locations. The position will be based at our Charlotte, NC (Whitehall Park) office, with regional travel (up to 85%) required to client sites, often necessitating overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site installations of AV equipment including displays, projectors, and control systems.
• Install, test, and terminate low voltage cabling essential for audio-visual setups.
• Follow guidance from Lead Technicians and Project Managers to ensure effective AV installations.
• Perform basic rack wiring and familiarize yourself with collaboration platforms.
• Engage in continuous education and aim to achieve AV certifications (CTS) for personal growth.
• Assist with inventory management, staging, and testing of AV and network hardware before installations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide basic customer support on-site.
• Travel to various job sites regularly.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, or relevant military experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the low voltage or AV industry.
• A background in trades or other hands-on technical fields.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Suite.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including ladder work, lifting heavy objects (50 pounds), and standing for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically in audio-visual systems.
• Certifications (CTS, Extron, Avixa, Shure, Biamp, Crestron) are a plus.
• 1-5 years of experience in AV integration is desirable.
