Sr. Product Manager-Technical, Prime Video Advertising - Supply Enablement

Prime Video is a first‑stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios‑produced series and movies, licensed fan favorites, and programming from Prime Video add‑on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll, and MGM+. All customers, whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store and can enjoy more content for free with ads.

As a Prime Video technologist, you will have end‑to‑end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state‑of‑the‑art experiences for our customers. You’ll work on fast‑paced, challenging, and varied projects, experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. You will help shape the future of streaming TV & Video Advertising, driving innovative ways to monetize while delighting viewers.

We are looking for a seasoned product leader with strong domain expertise in video ad insertion technologies, programmatic, and related technical and compliance standards such as VAST/VMAP, oRTB, Open Measurement, TCF, and GPP. The preferred candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and the proven ability to influence and drive vision, goals, and launch complex products across large organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision, roadmap, and new feature requirements that power Prime Video Ads supply‑side technology.
  • Define and implement strategy with clear, impactful vision and align engineering, business, and other stakeholders on priorities and rollout plans.
  • Work across multiple internal organizations, external vendors, and industry bodies to remain industry‑aware and customer‑focused.
  • Create compelling BRDs, vision docs, and PRFAQs that convince stakeholders using data and anecdotes.
  • Earn trust with engineering counterparts and keep the big picture while managing execution details.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of end‑to‑end product delivery experience.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, and QuickSight.
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
  • Strong domain expertise in video advertising technologies, programmatic ecosystem technologies, and related standards (e.g., VAST/VMAP/oRTB/Open Measurement).
  • Broad strategic view of ad‑tech trends and deep understanding of how the various aspects of the ad‑tech ecosystem work together (ad‑servers, SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, DMPs, measurement vendors, etc.).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year to $235,200/year, with equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits potentially included. This position will remain posted until filled.
