Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Designer to lead design projects from concept through completion, providing creative direction, technical expertise, and design excellence. The role is ideal for a seasoned architectural or interior design professional who can collaborate with clients, guide project teams, and deliver high‑quality, innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design development from conceptual sketches to construction documents.
  • Establish and maintain design vision, ensuring functionality, constructability, and adherence to standards.
  • Drive creative concepts, design strategy, and innovation across project phases.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders; prepare and deliver design presentations; manage expectations and define project requirements.
  • Provide technical direction on drawings, models, renderings, and documentation; ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility/ADA requirements, and sustainability standards; review and approve material selections, finishes, and detailing.
  • Mentor junior designers and drafting staff; provide redlines, feedback, guidance; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation; support quality control checks, design reviews, and project milestones.
  • Stay updated on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies; promote best practices and integrate innovative solutions into design work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience leading architectural or interior design projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and rendering tools.
  • Strong design sensibility, spatial understanding, and technical detailing skills.
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and team coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory frameworks.
