Job Description

The VTC and Mobile Device Support Technician provides daily operational and technical support for COMNAVSURFLANT Flag Officer and Staff video teleconferencing systems, ensuring mission-critical communications capabilities remain reliable and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor VTC systems to ensure daily operational availability.
• Configure and update mobile devices, ensuring security compliance.
• Manage and initiate video conferences; coordinate schedules for senior staff events.
• Resolve hardware/software issues for VTC and mobile devices.
• Notify command of system outages, maintenance activities, and readiness status.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• 5 years of experience with Cisco VTC systems and Active Directory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills

Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience

• • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • DISA Approved Product List (APL) compliant VTC systems
  • Active Directory / Microsoft 365 integration
  • DoD STIGs for network communication devices
