Job Summary / Description
As Executive Producer, you will manage a team of producers and hosts for ATL Live and ATL Live: Extra, producing original enterprise content, live studio interviews, and sponsored segments. Key responsibilities include mentoring the team, ensuring quality control and storytelling excellence, managing the live viewer experience, serving as a brand ambassador, liaising with sales and account executives for sponsored content, and driving editorial strategy to create innovative broadcasts.
- Mentor and coach the lifestyle production team.
- Oversee quality control and storytelling for live and pre-produced segments.
- Develop and assign enterprise content and story ideas.
- Collaborate with sales, account executives, and other departments for sponsored content and client projects.
- Maintain project timelines and coordinate with the Creative Director and other managers.
- Ensure the show meets community standards and reflects Gray Media values.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in show production; 3 years of management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or equivalent training/experience.
- Resume reel required.
- Proficiency with production software such as ENPS or i-News, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, including camera, lights, and tripod.
- Ability to produce content in the field independently.
- Strong organizational skills and capacity to prioritize multiple projects with competing timelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
