Job Summary / Description Hawaii News Now seeks a full‑time Technical Media Producer to direct live newscasts, run Master Control, monitor on‑air signals, transmitter, FCC logs, and ingest daily programming and commercial content. The role involves coding and directing newscasts, running Master Control, and working with the news production team to prepare local productions. Duties / Responsibilities Code and direct live and pre‑recorded newscasts and local programming. Run Master Control programming and ingest commercial and program content. Monitor on‑air signals, transmitter readings, and other FCC duties. Work flexible shifts to accommodate changing schedules and vacation coverage. Collaborate with news producers and the team to prepare for local productions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications / Requirements Proficiency with Ross Overdrive automation, Ross production video switcher, VizRT graphics system, Evertz Master Control switching, Harris automation, Edius editing software, and all supporting production equipment. Ability to use camera remotes, prompter, Calrec audio board, commercial and promo ingesting through Telestream factories, and desktop editing. Strong communication and people skills. Knowledge of PCs and automation software. Prior television production and Master Control experience. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call periods.
