Our Events team is growing, and we’re looking for an Event Producer who’s ready to jump in, collaborate, problem-solve, and bring exceptional experiences to life. About the Role

As an Event Producer, you will own end-to-end production across events of varying scale and complexity. You’ll ensure every phase—from planning and permitting, to run-of-show execution and on-site operations—runs smoothly, precisely, and with intention.

You have experience producing events in diverse locations, creating and executing Run-of-Shows, and you’re comfortable overseeing technical builds (A/V, lighting, staging) with confidence. You’ll work closely with creative, strategy, accounts, and production teammates, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment.

You think like a producer and an experience designer. You understand how each event fits into company goals and how to create moments that feel intentional, polished, and on brand. You consider pacing, flow, emotional arc, and audience experience—not just logistics.

Tasks

• Turn creative ideas into actionable production plans, timelines, and workflows.
• Translate concepts into real, achievable experiences.
• Ensure every event aligns with Upscale’s voice, attention to detail, and brand standards.

You anticipate needs before they arise, bring solutions (not just problems), and collaborate effortlessly across teams. You can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to own the smallest details.

• Partner closely with the events team throughout planning and execution.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time and propose practical, thoughtful solutions.
• Work independently when needed but remain deeply collaborative.

You communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners. You can juggle multiple projects at different stages without losing momentum or clarity.

Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a strong plus due to our international footprint.

• Communicate confidently with vendors, sponsors, speakers, and creators.
• Keep projects moving through email, Slack, meetings, and cross-functional updates.
• Coordinate multiple events simultaneously in varying time zones.
• Adapt to shifting schedules as events require.

Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented

You’re a systems thinker who loves structure. You keep everything tracked, documented, and moving—leveraging tools like Notion, Google Suite, and other production systems.

• Source and manage suppliers: venues, catering, A/V crews, fabrication teams, design, staff, transport, etc.
• Build and manage budgets, negotiate quotes, and oversee contracts.
• Lead load‑in, tech rehearsals, and show operations with confidence and calm.
• Produce post‑event recaps with insights, learnings, and KPIs.

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to perform under pressure with professionalism, calm, and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally—likely monthly—and work flexible hours during event periods.
• A strong network of trusted suppliers in the SF/Bay Area.
• Curiosity about new technologies and future trends in the events space.
