Location: Can be based in either New York or Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the brand’s U.S. PR and communications strategy, ensuring strong narrative alignment and impactful storytelling across channels.
Drive crisis and issues management efforts; coordinate closely with global HQ to develop responses and manage sensitive public situations with discretion and speed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S. mainstream media, top‑tier digital media, podcast hosts, creators, and key opinion leaders to expand brand visibility.
Oversee the creation, review, and quality of major press releases, corporate statements, and brand storytelling content to ensure consistency with brand voice.
Develop integrated communication programs across earned media, digital platforms, social media, and influencer ecosystems to strengthen brand reputation and engagement.
Provide senior executives with strategic counsel on communications, public sentiment, and reputational risk.
Monitor U.S. media landscape and public discourse to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of brand‑side experience in PR, corporate communications, or reputation management, preferably within consumer brands or multinational companies.
Proven expertise in crisis communications and managing complex public issues.
Strong bilingual communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to craft high‑quality media materials in both languages.
Established media relationships and strong familiarity with the U.S. media ecosystem, digital platforms, and influencer landscape.
Strategic thinker with strong judgment, adaptability, and resilience in fast‑moving environments.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally and influence at all levels.
