Job Description Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Our Surgery team will give you the chance to deliver surgical technologies and solutions to surgeons and healthcare professionals around the world, helping effectively treat conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
Responsibilities
Champion a multispecialty strategy and customer engagement plan
Define worldwide marketing strategy
Develop global insights to drive marketing strategies
Develop the positioning and value propositions
Work closely with global upstream team and regions to deliver new product launch forecasts
Create relationships with WW key opinion leaders to inform strategy
Drive value‑based healthcare initiatives through key claims and a robust evidence strategy
Forecast customer demand and participate in developing demand forecasts for new products across product lines
Proactively align decision-making with enterprise‑wide strategy and evaluate short‑ and long‑term goals to prioritize the highest impact actions
Build organizational capability, recruit & develop talent, and allocate resources to achieve growth goals. Provide leadership, support, and expertise across the organization; include input into product development teams
Build a pipeline of talent and foster a culture of engagement within the team
Be a key member of the NPD/PS Leadership Team
Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience: 10+ years as a sales and marketing leader at the global level with a track record of delivering results in challenging business environments
Industry: Healthcare, MedTech required; robotics and digital surgery preferred; demonstrated ability to understand portfolio of products
Team leadership: Experience managing teams and identifying/developing talent required
Marketing scope: Proven track record of increased marketing responsibilities across functions (Sales, Finance, R&D, etc.)
Strategic & analytical skills required
Execution: Proven ability to go from strategy to execution and deliver market results
Launch experience: Upstream and downstream marketing, new product launch required
Market creation: Experience with marketing programs to create new markets or segments preferred
Research & analysis: Knowledge of marketing research, including voice of the customer (VOC)
Other
Location flexibility: May require up to 50% travel (international and domestic)
Compensation: Base pay range $173,000 to $299,000 (Bay Area $200,000 – $343,850)
