Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Geospatial / Geographic Data Scientist:
No of Years of Experience: 10+ Yrs Experience Band: Level 3
Role type: WFO, Location-Bothell, Seattle
Number of Positions: 1 FTE

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or further education in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with data visualization tools. (Preferably Looker)
Knowledge of statistical methods.
Experience in a role requiring rigorous data quality analysis and improvement.
Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and A/B testing - Mandatory
Experience with Google's development tools and infrastructure (e.g., Google3, Blaze, FlumeJava, Borg).
Familiarity with geospatial data and concepts (e.g., Map Facts, Feature Protos).
Core Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to address business challenges.
Analyze large amounts of complex data to extract insights and drive decision-making.
Design experiments to test hypotheses and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
Mapping & Visualization:
Creating informative digital maps, dashboards, and reports to communicate complex geographic information.
Research & Development:
Staying updated on new geospatial tech, improving analysis methods, and potentially developing AI assistants for GIS tasks.
Collaboration & Communication:
Working with teams, understanding client needs, and presenting findings to support strategic decisions.
