We’re looking for a

Marketing Director

who’s as strategic as they are a self-starter — someone who can architect campaigns, optimize campaign performance, and build scalable systems, all in the same week.

You’ll partner directly with leadership as our first marketing leader to define outreach strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute. You understand markets (especially insurance, restaurant, and retail) and how to influence customer decisions deeply while thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where impact is visible every day and results every week.

Local Hero is a MAAP – Marketing as a Platform – technology company that blends local digital media, dynamic ad creation, self-serve technology, and full-service value to create custom campaigns and increase consumer traffic for national brands and local franchisees.

This position is remote (hybrid available if within commuting distance to Boulder, CO) and open to candidates living in:

Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico

A Day in the Life

Translate business goals into measurable KPIs, budgets, and campaign frameworks.

Create the strategy, define segments and objectives, collaborate on design, and optimize demand‑gen Google, LinkedIn, and other platform campaigns.

Manage HubSpot performance dashboards and facilitate reporting.

Collaborate with sales and product on the 4 P marketing mix, campaign alignment, MQL pipeline, and revenue goals.

Hire and grow marketing staff, specialists, contractors, and creative partners.

Monitor market trends, performance data, and platform shifts.

Lead conference and event strategy, booth development, site marketing, sponsorships, performance objectives and sales collaboration.

Accountable for the performance of all external facing brand assets including the corporate website, client landing pages, print collateral, and sales proposals.

Be the voice of our customers, providing external input, and running market research.

Present campaign results and strategic insights to leadership and key clients.

Here’s What You Need to Get Our Attention

7–12 years of progressive marketing experience in a digital agency or SaaS environment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience leading campaign planning, budgeting, and optimization across multi‑channel media.

Expertise with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms and analytics/reporting tools.

Strong project management experience especially using Asana or Airtable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can lead presentations and craft copy that performs.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives with precision.
