Job Description Lead the design, deployment, and management of secure cloud architectures for DoD mission requirements while ensuring strict compliance with DoD security policies, including DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements (CC SRG) and NIST 800‑53 Rev5. The role requires familiarity with operational security elements such as Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), and Security Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) requirements or their equivalents.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud networking solutions that integrate security best practices.

Demonstrate familiarity with DoD Enterprise services, Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM), Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP), and related integrations.

Integrate DISA BCAP processes into architecture designs.

Utilize Cloud Guardrails and their inheritance for Mission Owners.

Guide the team and develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible for scalable, repeatable deployments with strong DevSecOps practices and GitLAB (or equivalent) experience.

Collaborate with cross‑functional and security teams to ensure robust and compliant landing zones.

Integrate networking and security with third‑party tools such as load balancers (F5) and network firewalls (Palo Alto).

Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert and mentor for the team.

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies (OCI preferred).

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in DoD environments.

Proven ability to implement and manage DoD security requirements (STIG, ACAS, etc.).

Strong expertise in cloud networking and security architecture.

Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.

Familiarity with third‑party load balancers (F5) and network firewalls (Palo Alto).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with BCAP (Boundary Cloud Access Point) implementations.

Knowledge of SCCA frameworks and compliance.

OCI certifications or equivalent industry certifications.

Compliance Certain U.S. customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

Salary & Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from:

$120,100



$251,600
