Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Union Station Area)

Schedule: Hybrid, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m. with alternating Fridays off (2 days onsite).

Duration: Up to 6 months (potential to extend / convert).

Pay Rate: $53–$57 per hour.

Salary range provided by Tucker Parker Smith Group (TPS Group) is $53.00/hr - $57.00/hr.

Position Overview A public sector agency in the Los Angeles area seeks a temporary IT Software Developer III. The developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of internal and external websites, reports, forms, workflows, and web artifacts.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications, reports, forms, and workflows for internal and external use.

Manage and enhance website content using

Umbraco CMS , ensuring accessibility, quality, and consistency.

Develop and maintain database-driven applications using

SQL, Oracle, and ASP.NET .

Integrate and optimize systems using

Azure OpenAI/Copilot ,

AWS ,

Cloudflare , and related services.

Build and deploy business intelligence and automation solutions using

Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Report Builder .

Collaborate with technical and functional teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Utilize design tools such as

Dreamweaver

and

Photoshop

to create and maintain visually consistent and user-friendly pages.

Support data reporting, dashboard development, and workflow optimization across the organization.

Required Experience and Skills

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 or more years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2 or more years of experience.

Proficiency in: Power Platform

tools including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Report Builder

Microsoft 365

tools including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Access

Strong understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, triggers, data modeling, and performance tuning.

Knowledge of object-oriented concepts, UML, multi-tier architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI dashboards.

Ability to test, debug, and deploy web-based and database-driven applications.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with reporting tools, BI integrations, and workflow platforms.

Valid California driver's license.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
