Pfizer Oncology leads an industry‑premier portfolio of 25 approved innovative cancer medicines, including major therapies for metastatic breast, prostate, urothelial, and hematologic malignancies. The portfolio focuses on four key areas: breast cancer, genitourinary cancer, hematology, and precision medicine, with an extensive pipeline of over 50 programs in clinical development. Roles And Responsibilities

Report to the Team Lead within Pfizer Oncology Medical Strategy Management. Lead the development and execution of impactful scientific communication strategies for assigned medicines and their tumor area, achieving a singular scientific voice anchored to evidence. Ensure overall scientific communication and content strategies reflect TA priorities and that tactical execution of medical and scientific communication activities optimizes engagement and reach within the oncology community. General Responsibilities (applicable to all focus areas)

Integrate strategic input from stakeholders into scientific communication plans. Support global product teams and oncology stakeholders on clinical trial data readouts. Align each product’s scientific content/communications strategy with Pfizer Oncology stakeholders. Serve as a strategic thought partner to the TA medical team, providing guidance and subject‑matter expertise. Lead financial projections and budget management, including agency and offshore team oversight. Collaborate with the International Medical Channel Content team for country‑specific adaptations. Maintain up‑to‑date therapeutic area expertise and serve as a primary point of contact for accurate, current medical knowledge. Build collaborative relationships with relevant partners to optimize channel‑specific TA medical communication strategies. Stay abreast of U.S. regulations affecting digital delivery of scientific information to HCPs. Therapeutic Area (TA) Communications

Strategic oversight of TA scientific communication activities and overarching narrative. Create and maintain Scientific Communication Platform (SCP) and global medical narratives and FAQs. Work closely with clinical teams during data readouts. Ensure consistency across non‑medical audiences. Coordinate with Oncology Leadership Team and GMAT sub‑committees. Data Disclosure (Publications)

Drive and deliver data disclosure plans, including PLS and EPC. Manage author reviews, chair Scientific Publications Committees, and coordinate publication activities. Serve as a core GMAT sub‑committee member. Content Focus

Lead content strategies and projects across all medical channels. Define and deliver global and U.S. medical‑to‑medical content for field, HQ, congresses, and digital platforms. Maintain alignment with Pfizer Oncology global medical TA team and regional agencies. Resolve issues in content creation, balancing medical expertise with patient and regulatory perspectives. Develop TA training content with platform training teams when applicable. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant biopharmaceutical/biotech or agency experience. Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MS, etc.) preferred. Experience developing strategic scientific communications to support scientific exchange. Strong understanding of Medical Affairs and scientific strategies. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Strong written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience in a highly regulated environment and innovative scientific content delivery. Proficiency with omnichannel content development. Experience with scientific peer‑reviewed publications. Preferred Qualifications

Oncology experience strongly preferred. Advanced medical/scientific degree with 8+ years’ experience (Masters) or 6+ years’ experience (PhD or PharmD). Non‑standard Work Schedule, Travel Or Environment Requirements

Travel 15–20%. Hybrid role requiring on‑site work 2.5 days per week. Primary location within commuting distance. Salary and Benefits

Annual base salary ranging from $169,700 to $282,900, with potential for a 20% base salary bonus and share‑based long‑term incentive program. Comprehensive benefits include 401(k), paid leave, and medical coverage. Tampa, FL salary range: $152,700 to $254,500. Sunshine Act
