The UX Researcher will plan and execute end‑to‑end research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations, and turn these insights into actionable recommendations for product and design teams. The role partners closely with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to ensure products are intuitive, useful, and delightful.
Key responsibilities
Design and run user research studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys, diary/field studies, A/B tests) across the product lifecycle.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and synthesize clear insights, patterns, and opportunities.
Create and maintain artifacts such as personas, journey maps, and insight decks to communicate findings.
Work with cross‑functional stakeholders to prioritize research questions and influence product strategy and roadmaps.
Advocate for user‑centered design decisions through reports, presentations, and workshops.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Design, Anthropology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–4+ years of experience in applied UX research (industry, product, or similar settings).
Hands‑on experience with core UX methods (usability testing, user interviews, surveys, concept testing, log/behavior analysis).
Ability to plan studies independently, choose appropriate methods, and deliver clear, data‑driven recommendations.
Strong communication skills with experience presenting findings to cross‑functional and leadership audiences.
Preferred qualifications
Master’s or PhD in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Statistics, Anthropology, or related discipline.
Experience working in large, matrixed tech organizations or on complex consumer products.
Familiarity with experimentation and analytics tools, and comfort combining behavioral data with attitudinal research.
