Part-Time Video Specialist

Contractor Work Model:
Onsite – some hybrid may be approved by manager
Responsibilities
Coordinate video shoots with Sworn and Unsworn staff, PIO, and IMTD technical teams
Create, film, record, edit, and produce video content including podcasts and documentaries
Project manage video shoots, ensuring resources are coordinated, schedules are blocked, and the team is kept informed.
Manage approval and release of video content for compliance and quality
Maintain video equipment, recommend equipment procurement to Deputy Director and Director of Information Management and Technology
Provide lighting and sound support
Train centralized and decentralized staff across the organization
Work Hours and Schedule Contractor will work flexible hours based on demand. Weekly hours are fluid; one week may have a heavy load and another a light load.
Work is dependent on planned activities. It may require nights and weekends on rare occasions.
Requirements & Conditions Must be able to work onsite and remain flexible. Contractor will report directly to the Deputy Director overseeing the Audio/Video team. The candidate will undergo a background check conducted by the police department.
