Driver Cos. has an exciting opportunity for you as a Marketing Specialist or Senior Marketing Specialist. C.W. Driver Cos. would prefer this Specialist to be based out of Anaheim, but is open to this hire joining any of the current office locations.
The Marketing Specialist or Senior Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting our pursuit efforts, helping to develop strong proposals, presentations, and related materials that position our teams well to win. Pursuits are the primary focus of this role, and much of the work centers on creatin well-written, accurate, and visually polished content. In addition to pursuits, the Specialist also contributes to events, communications, graphics, data management and other marketing needs as they arise. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our marketing deliverables are consistent and effective.
Responsibilities:
Requests for Qualifications/Proposals and Interviews
Produce SOQ's, prequalifications, and proposals for all markets and delivery methods
Support the presentation process with interview materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and leave-behings
Standard Department Resources
Create and update master documents and maintain digital filing structure
Open Asset utilization for project sheet and resumes
Develop and maintain marketing templates (InDesign, PowerPoint, Canva, Emma, etc.)
Provide support to the Marketing and Project Development Departments, as needed
Corporate Marketing, External
Update website content
Create content for all social media platforms
Assist in coordinating special events
Assist in creating advertisements, e-mail blasts, award submittals, and other collateral
Corporate Marketing, Internal
Assist in the development of presentations and materials for internal events
Create intranet posts and newsletters
Qualifications:
Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or other applicable discipline
Minimum 1-4 years of industry/relevant experience; Senior level (5-8 years)
Relevant industry knowledge and familiarity
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills
Ability to work effectively under multiple deadlines
Technology savvy with a discerning eye for good design
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Wordpress, Canva, CRM (or related client management system), and Open Asset (or other DAM platform.)
