We are seeking a Senior Social Media Producer to oversee and elevate our social media presence across multiple platforms. This role combines hands-on content creation with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of Social Content Producers while also setting the daily agenda for engagement and growth.
The Senior Social Media Producer will be responsible for shaping platform-specific strategies, ensuring content quality and consistency, and tracking performance to drive results. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment, understand the demands of a digital newsroom, and be adept at translating breaking news and cultural moments into high-impact social content.

Position Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media content production and management, ideally in a digital media or newsroom environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage a team of content producers.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with a sharp sense of platform voice.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar).
- Deep knowledge of platform algorithms, audience behavior, and engagement strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills - able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social analytics platforms (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
