Position: Music Director Duration: Temporary/Production-Based Contract Location: Nathan Hale Arts Elementary School Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Music Director to lead the musical components of our upcoming production. This temporary, stipend-based role is ideal for an experienced music educator, conductor, or theatre professional with a passion for guiding performers and shaping musical storytelling. Key Responsibilities Guide and oversee all musical aspects of the production. Facilitate music rehearsals and coordinate closely with the artistic staff. Teach all music for the show and provide coaching to performers. Collaborate with the Director to schedule and structure rehearsal time. Work with the Director and Choreographer to ensure the artistic vision is fully realized. Actively supervise students during rehearsals and performance-related events. Perform other duties as assigned during the production. Qualifications Experience as a music director, conductor, or music educator in musical theatre. Strong musicianship and teaching skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse artistic team. Experience working with students or community performers preferred. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
