VP, Data360 Product Marketing

We’re looking for a strategic leader who will drive the marketing strategy and execution for Salesforce’s Data360, an enterprise data platform product. The VP will work closely with the Executive Vice President and GM of Data360 to develop differentiated product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and go‑to‑market strategy across sales, service, commerce and IT workflows.
Responsibilities
Develop and evolve a compelling narrative and value proposition for Data360 and lead the creation of all collateral (website, digital, videos, demos, enablement materials, etc.).
Develop and refine customer segmentation and detailed personas, documenting needs and use cases.
Build and maintain a robust demand generation engine to ensure a healthy, progressing pipeline aligned with sales objectives.
Oversee the creation and execution of high‑impact, multi‑channel marketing campaigns to generate marketing and sales qualified leads and drive customer acquisition and expansion.
Launch new Data360 solutions and capabilities in coordination with Product and Sales leadership at Salesforce events.
Drive field readiness and enablement for new Data360 solutions and capabilities.
Collaborate with Analyst and Press Relations teams to deliver thought‑leadership and media strategy.
Manage stakeholder communication to ensure alignment across product, sales, marketing, and customer success in a matrixed organization.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report regularly on the performance of product marketing initiatives.
Develop and grow a diverse product marketing team.
Position Requirements
10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of launching and growing enterprise‑level products, ideally data platforms or related technology.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience translating market needs into product positioning, messaging, and product requirements.
Ability to influence and deliver results within global, matrixed environments.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally about 25% of the time.
At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices. The typical base salary range for this position is $230,600 - $368,900 annually (adjusted for the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, $251,500 - $402,400). This range does not include bonus, equity or benefits. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including time off, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life & disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.
