Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage
February 2026–May 20, 2026 | Full-Time | School-Based
Our Organization is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a temporary, full-time role providing coverage during maternity leave. This assignment runs from February 2026 through May 20, 2026 and supports 3rd and 4th grade students, with a caseload capped at 55 learners.
In this position, you'll provide direct, evidence-based speech and language services, conduct assessments, track progress, and contribute to IEP development and meetings. You'll partner with teachers, families, and school staff to help students meet their communication goals. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective caseload management, and the ability to maintain accurate, compliant documentation while delivering high-quality support across a broad student group.

Role Overview:
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
- Track and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate students, families, and school staff on strategies to improve communication skills.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification.
- Ability to apply for an SLP license in the state of Georgia.
- Hold a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
