ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives targeting the Asian segment, with a focus on growth and retention.
  • Maintain and leverage an established book of business to drive visitation and revenue.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese to effectively communicate with guests and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the domestic marketing and events team to support property-wide activations and promotions.
  • Conceptualize and execute boutique events tailored to Asian clientele, including cultural celebrations, entertainment, and VIP experiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with promoters, vendors, and entertainment partners to secure future bids and opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-marketing efforts with Sahara Las Vegas, including hosting and player development strategies.
  • Represent the property at industry events and within Asian communities to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Asian Marketing and Player Development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and internal policies.
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Proven leadership in casino marketing with a focus on the Asian segment.
  • Must have an established book of business and strong relationships with high-value players.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese required; additional Asian languages a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Asian cultures, gaming preferences, and international business practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with promoters, vendors, and entertainment partners.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute boutique events and cross-property activations.
  • Experience coordinating with domestic marketing and events teams to support property-wide initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop targeted campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Gaming Analytics, Optx).
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of senior-level experience in casino marketing or player development, with a focus on the Asian market.
  • Demonstrated success in VIP player development, event planning, and team leadership.
  • Experience working in multi-property environments or coordinating cross-market initiatives is highly desirable.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently walking, standing, and interacting with guests.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling promotional materials.
  • Visual acuity required for reading reports, analyzing data, and event oversight.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including casino floor, event venues, and promotional areas.
  • Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels, crowds, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent face-to-face interaction with guests, team members, and external partners.
  • Travel may be required for cross-property coordination and industry events.
