Senior UX Designer, Search and Conversational Shopping Design Join to apply for the Senior UX Designer, Search and Conversational Shopping Design role at Amazon Description We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking UX Designer to become a key member of our Search and Conversational Shopping Design team. This exciting opportunity lets you contribute to the innovation team behind Amazon's generative AI‑powered shopping assistant, Rufus, which helps customers find and discover products through research, comparisons, recommendations, answers to specific product questions, and more. As a UX Designer on this high‑impact product you will shape the future of this cutting‑edge experience, collaborating with designers, researchers, writers, engineers, data scientists and product managers to deliver a best‑in‑class shopping experience for hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating end‑to‑end user‑centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax Preferred Qualifications Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes Experience with UX design of complex workflows Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments and other compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
