A Little About The Role We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Sales Training and Enablement team. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for the design and development of learning programs and content that will drive sales performance and results, so that we can maximize the positive impact Procare makes for childcare centers across the country. This role requires an understanding of SaaS sales processes, a passion for developing stellar adult‑education content and programs, and the ability to take complex concepts and create simplified and digestible learning content.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop learning programs (e.g., e‑learning, instructor‑led training, virtual sessions, and job aids) that adhere to adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.

Execute sales onboarding program content and curricula, designing and maintaining onboarding curricula that ramp new sales hires quickly and confidently into their roles.

Optimize and manage sales training content, maintaining and updating training materials to reflect evolving products, processes, and market dynamics, and managing learning assets within the company’s existing systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts, partnering with sales leaders, product, and SMEs to gather input, validate content, ensuring relevance, and translating technical or strategic information into digestible, sales‑relevant learning content.

Create and manage sales enablement tools and content, developing job aids, guides, templates, and just‑in‑time learning resources that reinforce key behaviors and skills.

Assess and evaluate learning effectiveness, implementing methods to evaluate training effectiveness (e.g., Kirkpatrick levels, knowledge checks, skills application) and using feedback and performance data to iterate and improve learning experiences.

Effectively manage projects and deliver to timelines, managing multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, aligning timelines with business priorities and sales initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

3–5 years’ experience in instructional design, sales training and/or learning and development.

Proven experience as an Instructional Designer and/or Sales Trainer preferably in the SaaS industry.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles, best practices, along with sales processes, methodologies, and/or frameworks.

Excellent content/program creation, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to design and deliver engaging training content.

Strong analytical skills and ability to assess training effectiveness.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Experience with CRM and sales enablement software (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, etc.).

Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Salary $90,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a hybrid in‑office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a minimum of three days a week.
