The Role:
Arine is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our growing team. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, concise, and user‑friendly documentation for our medication management platform. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into effective documentation for a variety of audiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, user guides, API guides, reference manuals, configuration guides, tutorials, release notes, and micro‑training videos.
Research and gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs), including product managers, engineers, our internal clinical care team, and customer support.
Translate complex technical concepts into easy‑to‑understand language for various audiences, including technical and non‑technical users.
Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and adheres to company style guides and standards.
Design and create graphics such as screenshots and diagrams to help users understand technical concepts, process flows, and UI instructions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify documentation needs and prioritize projects.
Use various authoring tools and technologies to create and publish documentation, including generative AI tools to accelerate content creation and updates.
Use analytics and user feedback to continuously improve documentation usability and clarity.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes and standards, including version control and content lifecycle management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
7+ years of experience as a Technical Writer working on SaaS products, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of technical writing principles and best practices, including familiarity with structured authoring, content reuse, and information architecture.
Proficiency using various authoring tools and content management systems (such as MadCap Flare, ClickHelp, GitBook, Document360).
Experience creating micro‑learning assets (short videos, tooltips).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts.
Ability to think graphically and convey concepts through pictures as well as words. Proficiency with graphics tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work with minimal oversight.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with an Agile development environment and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with API documentation and related tools.
Experience creating interactive training materials.
Experience with Document360 is a plus.
Experience with digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe and WhatFix.
Experience with generative AI tools.
Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating technical writing skills.
