Responsibilities

Strategic Concept & Framing: Clearly identify the creative needs within a project and articulate precise business and audience goals. You will collaborate to structure a narrative and effectively frame the "strategic story."

Audience & Insight Focus: Lead in-depth discussions around intended audience, message hierarchy, and business goals. Use audience segmentation and insight analysis to ensure content is targeted and impactful.

Creative Briefing & Alignment: Transform abstract goals and research into a clear, actionable, and inspiring creative brief that guides the Creative team. Support project kickoffs by aligning the entire Creative team on the audience, intent, tone, and final content objective.

Strategy Governance: Shape the content strategy that guides the creative process. Determine when a broader content strategy across content modalities and channels is required. Align the approach with key partners.

Review & Optimization: Proactively review developing content to ensure it remains aligned with the established strategy. Advocate for the strategy and ensure adherence to the brief throughout the content development lifecycle.

Metric Analysis: Analyze content metrics and audience engagement data to generate actionable, data‑driven insights. Apply these learnings to refine and evolve future content strategy, ensuring continuous improvement.

Cross‑functional Partnership: Work with stakeholders across the organization to develop creative assets that are engaging, impactful, and drive business value. Build and maintain relationships with cross‑functional partners.

Strategic Program Design & Scaling: Contribute to developing the core strategic operating model for the Creative Strategy function by helping to build foundational programs.

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on experience in creative strategy, content strategy, or a closely related strategic role.

Proven ability to define the core business problem, blending strategic thinking with analytical skills to interpret data and measure content success.

Experience building comprehensive, cross‑channel creative plans, including defining content types, distribution channels, and message hierarchy.

Skill in identifying the creative potential of a project and articulating a compelling strategic vision and narrative framework.

Effective facilitation and stakeholder management skills; act as a creative partner who brings clarity, unifying diverse stakeholders and translating complexity into simple, focused instructions.

Understanding of creative processes and project workflows across editorial, email, video, and graphic design disciplines.

Proven success managing multiple complex, cross‑functional projects and competing priorities in a fast‑moving, often ambiguous environment.

Experience with collaboration and project management platforms (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace).

Preferred Requirements

Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or experience working within Digital Customer Success, DesignOps, or Customer Experience (CX) organizations.

Background in strategic writing or editorial content development.

Experience working in a creative hybrid model with both internal teams and external agency stakeholders.

Background working with distributed global teams across multiple time zones.

Strong interest in how AI can enhance customer experiences and influence future strategy development.

Salary: The typical base salary range for this position is $125,700 - $172,800 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $137,100 - $188,600 annually.
