Timberwolf Studios is a NYC-based creative production company and content agency working with industry leading brands from around the world.
This is a
hands‑on editorial role
(you’ll cut), combined with
editorial leadership
(you’ll review and guide others). You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director and Production Manager.
Location:
In‑office, NYC Type:
Full‑time, W‑2 Hours:
9:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hrs/week). Weekend shoots may occur, but rarely. PTO:

What You’ll Do
Edit a range of projects, including
brand campaigns, social ads, documentaries, music videos , and more
Review drafts, provide clear notes, and ensure consistency in storytelling, pacing, polish, and brand standards
Own Timberwolf’s
post‑production standards : templates, organization, naming conventions, codecs, delivery specs, and overall workflow hygiene
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Creative Director, Production Manager) and join client review cycles when needed
Manage multiple clients and timelines simultaneously while maintaining high creative standards and calm execution
What We’re Looking For Must‑haves
5+ years
professional editing experience
Strong portfolio across
product/lifestyle campaigns
and
micro social content
Proven ability to manage multiple projects/clients at once, and work within a team environment
Excellent communication—able to give/receive feedback, guide others, and keep momentum moving
High level of
ownership
and pride in the company’s output; motivated to help grow a brand, not just complete tasks
Fast, reliable editor with strong taste and creative instincts
Tools / Workflow
Comfortable with
Final Cut Pro ,
DaVinci Resolve , and
Adobe Creative Cloud
Familiar with
NAS‑based workflows
Cinematography experience
Agency experience
Photography experience
The Work You’ll be cutting and delivering across multiple formats, including
16:9 and 9:16 , with an emphasis on modern web/social deliverables.
