Editorial Support Specialist (Remote)
Join Outlier AI as an Editorial Support Specialist, helping to train and refine AI systems with expert human feedback.
Base Pay Range $15.00/hr – $15.00/hr, with additional rewards based on quality of submission.
What You Will Be Doing
Adopt a user mindset to produce natural & realistic AI data.
Use rubrics to structure responses addressing user needs.
Evaluate AI outputs by reviewing and ranking reasoning and problem‑solving responses from large language models.
Contribute across projects based on your specific skillset and experience.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher (or currently enrolled).
Analytical and problem‑solving skills – developing complex prompts and evaluating nuanced AI reasoning.
Strong writing – clear, concise, engaging explanations of decisions or critiques.
Attention to detail – accuracy and assessment of technical aspects of model outputs.
Nice to Haves
Experience in literature, creative writing, history, philosophy, theology, etc.
Prior writing or editorial experience (content strategist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
Interest or background in AI, machine learning, or creative tech tools.
Compensation and Benefits Earn up to $15 USD/hr, paid weekly via PayPal & AirTM. Rates vary with quality, accuracy, and time spent.
Free access to the Model Playground to experiment with large language models.
Flexible schedule with no 9‑to‑5 contract. Most experts work 5‑10 hours/week, up to 40.
