Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the boutique communication strategy in close partnership with the VP of Retail Operations and build processes and tools to support ongoing execution of communication flow.
Coordinate with senior retail leaders and department heads to uphold a holistic and streamlined communication flow from Corporate Office to Boutiques.
Partner with Training and Human Resources teams for the development, implementation, and adoption of the Retail Communication program.
Utilize communication and task‑management tools to measure and report the successful completion of Retail Onboarding modules, reviewing and evolving content based on feedback and results.
Operate as the primary gatekeeper, filtering and streamlining all communications and workload to the Boutiques, including weekly updates, store tasks, and calendar planning.
Drive adoption and future development of the communication tool, collaborating with field, corporate teams, and vendors to identify use cases and implement them.
Use the tool to execute effective communication between Boutique and Corporate, manage the boutique task process, and report compliance.
Utilize weekly corporate team meetings to facilitate alignment of corporate and store calendars, reconciling strategic conflicts and ensuring all departments are aligned on priorities.
Own the Corporate Master Calendar and coordinate the scheduling, implementation, and communication of critical events such as markdowns, buybacks/RTVs, and inventory.
Streamline Boutique communication to ensure a holistic, “one‑message” approach to the field.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization for all operational procedures, identifying areas for improvement and partnering with Regional Operations and other departments to provide solutions.
Manage all boutique contests, incentives, rewards, and recognition programs.
Define the process for collecting, distributing, and posting communication materials in stores, ensuring brand consistency; own updates of executive team posters for field teams.
Provide consistent feedback to the VP of Retail Operations to develop solutions to outstanding issues following process implementations.
Routinely evaluate the impact of communication initiatives through input from cross‑functional partners and field teams, ensuring messages are appropriate, actionable, and effective.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal) and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
Excellent writing and editing skills to ensure clarity and simplicity of communications.
Ability to understand business strategy and prioritize communications accordingly.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, capable of handling multiple demands and competing priorities.
Proactive sense of urgency and independence in decision‑making.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Graphics or design experience preferred to ensure visually impactful, on‑brand communications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field; in‑store experience a plus.
Benefits & Compensation The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $120k – $135k annually, plus bonus eligibility.
