Sr. Principal Piping Designer

Overview KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize assets.
KBR is seeking a Principal Piping Designer to serve as a technical advisor, making authoritative decisions and recommendations that impact extensive engineering activities. The role involves negotiating critical issues with top-level engineers and providing advisory work for broad program areas or specialized areas.
Location & Work Arrangement This position is assigned to a client site team in Corpus Christi, TX and will be performed full time at the site. No relocation assistance or per diem will be offered.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Associates degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required
Minimum 15+ years of piping experience related to the layout of chemical, power and refinery, rotating and packaged equipment
Proficiency in PDMS, MicroStation, and AutoCAD
Experience developing equipment arrangement drawings for construction and layout equipment
Experience designing pipe supports
