Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an innovative technology company seeking a UI/UX Engineer to support the development of next-generation touchscreen and display-driven products. This organization builds tools for media professionals, and this role helps shape intuitive, visually engaging user experiences across their products.

In this role, you will work closely with a collaborative team to translate product requirements into polished user interfaces. The ideal candidate brings experience creating user-focused interfaces from early concept through implementation, contributing to product functionality, interaction patterns, and overall user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user interface concepts, frameworks, and mockups that translate requirements into thoughtful visual experiences.
  • Create user flows, site maps, storyboards, and process diagrams to communicate design intent and support collaborative development.
  • Drive UI/UX standards and best practices to maintain consistency across products and within the broader software development workflow.
  • Conduct user research and usability activities to inform design decisions and enhance product interactions.
  • Partner with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure high-quality implementation of UI/UX features.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant design discipline such as Interaction Design, UX Design, Human Factors, or a background that demonstrates comparable capability.
  • Hands-on experience designing user interfaces and collaborating with software development teams to bring concepts from idea to implementation.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Sigma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience creating structured design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and mockups.
  • Understanding of or interest in video, digital media, or hardware-driven user experiences is a plus.
