Role: Sr. User Experience (UX) Designer
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
The Senior User Experience (UX) Engagement & Operations Manager will be part of the ATS User Experience team, orchestrating and optimizing how business partners, product managers, design team members, and engineering teams create products that improve usability and business value for Client s employees and partners.
Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of UX engagements from intake through delivery and plan appropriate resourcing
Organize and ensure communication of UX status, issues, forecasts, and metrics
Advocate for design thinking in planning and delivery
Facilitate design reviews and post-mortems
Enhance program management and incorporate design thinking into planning
Lead operational strategy of the UX team
Standardize and mature prioritization and resource planning
Lead a cross-disciplinary team of design professionals
Increase operational efficiency of UX work
Assist with strategic and tactical prioritization of design initiatives
Act as a link between UX, Engineering, and Product Management
Facilitate creation of complex design solutions
Support process improvements, guidelines, and documentation
Support design staffing and allocation, working with leadership
Requirements
7+ years of project/program management experience in design or UX orgs
Experience triaging work and launching digital solutions
Advanced understanding of UX principles
Advanced facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills
Advanced written and verbal communication
