XDS
Senior Brand & Visual Designer – XDS
Founded in 1995, XDS (Xidesheng) is one of the world’s largest bicycle manufacturers, producing over 8 million bikes annually and serving riders in more than 80 countries. Our high‑end division, X‑Lab, partners with the UCI WorldTour Team XDS Astana to engineer the next generation of performance bikes. As we expand into the U.S. market, we’re building a small, elite team that blends performance design, brand storytelling, and premium consumer experience.
We’re looking for a hands‑on creative leader who can bring the brand to life across every touchpoint: marketing campaigns, product visuals, packaging, and dealer environments. You’ll shape how the world experiences XDS and X‑Lab—from a digital ad to a bike box, from a race‑day display to a retail rack. This is a rare opportunity to define the design DNA of a global brand entering the U.S. market.
What You’ll Do
Lead creative direction and execution for marketing assets— including ads, campaign visuals, web and social content, and trade‑show graphics.
Develop visual systems and templates for consistency across global and U.S. markets.
Partner with marketing to design launch materials for new bikes, campaigns, and dealer activations.
Ensure a consistent, premium brand language across all touchpoints.
Design bike paint schemes, decals, and component graphics that reflect the brand’s identity and performance ethos.
Oversee packaging design, including bike boxes, accessories, manuals, and hangtags—ensuring functionality, sustainability, and visual impact.
Collaborate with product and factory teams on material finishes, coatings, and color accuracy.
Create in‑store and dealer marketing materials: point‑of‑purchase displays, rack signage, banners, posters, and merchandising kits.
Develop trade‑show booth visuals and experiential graphics for U.S. events and expos.
Support the rollout of the U.S. dealer visual identity program.
Work closely with product, marketing, and supply chain teams across the U.S. and China.
Manage external design vendors, photographers, and printers when necessary.
Maintain strong visual standards and version control across digital and print assets.
You’re a Great Fit With
6–10 years of experience in brand, visual, or industrial design—ideally in consumer, outdoor, or mobility brands.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects); familiarity with 3D and rendering tools (Keyshot, Blender, etc.) a plus.
Strong understanding of print production, packaging, and color management.
Experience designing across both digital and physical mediums—from social to booth displays to product graphics.
A refined aesthetic sense that balances performance, minimalism, and visual clarity.
Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
Passion for cycling, mobility, or design that moves people—literally and emotionally.
You’re a Spectacular Fit With
Skills in quick mockups and rapid content creation cycles.
Interest in pop culture and understanding of bicycle design history.
Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, Unreal Engine, and other design tools.
