Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Marketing Associate (Entry Level) Reports to: Content Manager & Multimedia Producer Department: Marketing Location: New York, NY (In office; hybrid) Position Overview: The Marketing Associate supports the organization’s digital, social media, and multimedia efforts by maintaining website content, tracking analytics, assisting with social media production, and providing operational support for multimedia projects. This entry-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and creative individual who is eager to learn and contribute across multiple channels. Responsibilities: Website & Digital Content Management Upload daily op-eds from scholars to the website. Keep the website homepage current by adding new articles, updating the spotlight section, and incorporating weekly reports. Upload new scholar profiles and maintain the scholar directory. Upload testimonies and video content to relevant site sections. Upload weekly newsletters to the website archive. Analytics & Reporting Track article page views using platforms such as Piano or Google Analytics and update the weekly Airtable performance tracker. Update analytics for the organization’s weekly email campaigns. Support analytics tracking for podcast episodes and other multimedia content. Social Media Support Assist in creating graphics for social media platforms. Assist in TikTok content creation, filming, and editing. Multimedia Production Assistance Assist Sr. Multimedia Producer across all audio and video production needs: Assist in setting up studio equipment for regular video and audio recordings. Monitor recording sessions to ensure smooth production. Schedule/coordinate scholars and guests for participation in CJ Podcast and coordinate all logistical needs. Review recorded content to identify strong clips and add captions to broadcast/video materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS); willingness to learn is essential. Basic understanding of web reporting tools such as GA4/Piano or willingness to be trained. Experience with Canva or similar design tools a plus. Interest in video production, social media, and multimedia storytelling. Ability to juggle multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience with TikTok, Reels, or other short-form video platforms. Knowledge of basic video editing or captioning tools. Comfort working in studio environments with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Why Join Us?
