As a technical expert who bridges the gap between client needs and BairesDev's solutions, you will play a critical role in the sales process by engaging with leads and prospects, designing tailored technical solutions, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to secure new business opportunities. What You'll Do • Meet with leads and prospects alongside our sales team to understand and translate their requirements into clear, digestible documents, articulating the value proposition behind our delivery model. • Travel to meet leads and attend events to support the sales team, serving as the technical expert in conversations and showcasing our solutions. • Engage in technical conversations with leads around software development and delivery at the solution level; determine the right questions and solutions. • Work closely with presales on generating decks and proposals (teams, projects, roles, RFQs, etc.), estimating and recommending approaches focused on team composition and sizing. • Provide consulting on best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data and Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI. What We Are Looking For Ability to travel >40% within the US. 8+ years of experience building software with teams throughout the SDLC. 5+ years in solutioning, sales, presales, or solution architecture; Manager or Director level experience desirable. 5+ years in a specific area or role in the SDLC (language, framework, or technology) building and implementing solutions. Experience leading teams of software developers or engineers delivering solutions (Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing). Subject‑Matter Expert knowledge in 1–2 verticals with deep domain experience in at least one (desirable). Experience with Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure. Must be located in the US.
