The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms. This role is responsible for content development, campaign support, social media management, event coordination, and market research to increase brand visibility and support company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and publish marketing content for social media, email, web, and print materials.
Assist with the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
Manage company social media channels and ensure timely responses and engagement.
Conduct market research to support product positioning, customer targeting, and competitive analysis.
Track and analyze campaign performance metrics; prepare reports and recommendations.
Coordinate marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, signage, and promotional assets.
Support planning and execution of trade shows, events, and community activities.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, HR, Operations) to ensure messaging consistency.
Maintain CRM, email distribution lists, and marketing databases.
Assist with website updates, landing page creation, and SEO/SEM support.
Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards and company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation required.
Experience using marketing tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, or similar platforms preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative thinking and attention to detail.
Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and current trends.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer work.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (marketing materials/event supplies).
Ability to travel locally within Orange County for events, vendor meetings, or training.
Must be able to stand and walk events or trade shows.
Typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
Hybrid/remote work may be available depending on business needs and company policy.
