Senior Analyst – Performance and Analytics

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Director of Performance and Analytics, the Senior Analyst will own day‑to‑day measurement and reporting for the agency’s PR and digital clients worldwide. The role combines analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of communications and marketing best practices to help clients and internal teams use data to optimize content, channel, and communications strategies. It is a client‑facing role that collaborates closely with Performance and Analytics peers and cross‑functional team members (account, organic social, paid media, strategy, creative, PR) to deliver data‑backed recommendations.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Analyze digital marketing and PR data from disparate sources to optimize digital campaigns and communications programs.
  • Serve as the day‑to‑day analytics point of contact on digital and PR clients, working closely with account, paid media, and content counterparts to deliver insights and recommendations that inform content and campaign optimization.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly owned and earned reports for retainer clients; conduct ad hoc analyses to support new business efforts and project‑based work.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure data is clean and accurate, implementing and documenting new processes for data categorization, naming, and tracking to improve reporting clarity and efficiency.
  • Present performance results to internal teams and clients.

About You

  • 3–5+ years of experience in an analytics, insights, or research role, ideally at a marketing, advertising, or PR agency.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using BI data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital advertising analytics platforms, including LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads/Business Manager, Amazon Ads, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience presenting reports and findings to clients and explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications (preferred, Not Required)

  • Familiarity with ETL and data pipelines.
  • Experience using SQL for data analysis.

The expected salary range for the Sr. Analyst position is between $70,000 and $95,000. Base annual salary is determined by location, experience, and expertise.
