Job Description
Head of Marketing, Foods Americas at Ornua – a purpose‑driven, values‑led co‑operative – will lead the entire marketing function for the Kerrygold brand in North and Latin America. This role provides P&L accountability, owns end‑to‑end marketing strategy, and partners with global stakeholders to drive growth, profitability and brand value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of strategic business plans, priorities and financial objectives, guiding the organization to achieve budgeted results.
Develop and articulate a clear, compelling consumer‑led marketing vision and strategy for the business, harnessing core competencies and competitive advantages.
Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure alignment of the global Kerrygold marketing strategy and identify strategic growth opportunities.
Provide high‑quality leadership to the marketing team, fostering a high‑performance culture and robust development and succession plans.
Oversee the development and implementation of all marketing and brand strategy, including strategic planning, operational/commercial planning, insights and analytics, portfolio strategy, demand generation, communications, digital transformation, pricing strategy and innovation.
Ensure adoption of marketing competencies within the Ornua Foods Americas marketing team, delivering industry‑leading approaches.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of senior marketing experience in a US‑based retail‑branded business.
Proven ability to articulate and execute a compelling marketing vision that supports financial performance.
Commercially astute, with a strong appreciation for business drivers and challenges.
Experience in strategic planning, insights, portfolio strategy, integrated business planning, demand generation, digital transformation, pricing strategy and innovation.
Excellent understanding of the US retail marketplace and trends in food and dairy.
Strong people leadership skills and a track record of developing talent.
Results orientation and decisive, with the ability to drive change.
Excellent communication and networking skills, building trust at all levels.
Collaborative, communicative, analytical rigor, forward‑looking, and passion for business ownership.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in Latin America is a plus.
Benefits and Compensation Salary: $175,000 + annual bonus.
