About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Riverside, CA Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Riverside, CA
- Schedule: 25 hours, 5-6 sessions a week, Weekdays - 1 hour session, Weekend - 1.5 hour session
- Pay range is between $25 and $35
- Experience supporting students with Autism, nonverbal learners, or other learning differences.
- Skilled in developing foundational reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Patient, engaging, and encouraging, with the ability to provide firm redirection when needed.
- Strong background in supporting fine motor development and handwriting.
- Ability to create structured, motivating, and interactive learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
- Provide individualized instruction in reading, writing, and communication skills at a foundational level.
- Support the student in developing organization, focus, and task completion strategies.
- Incorporate multisensory and hands-on techniques to strengthen handwriting and letter formation.
- Collaborate with existing ABA, speech, and occupational therapy programs to maintain consistency in support.
- Foster a positive, patient, and motivating learning environment to build confidence and independence.
- Adapt lessons to the student's pace, interests, and current developmental level.
