Content Creator

Location: New York, NY | Hybrid

Reports to: Marketing Manager/ Director of Operations

Role Overview

The Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality, on-brand digital content that showcases JD Watches’ luxury timepieces, services, and in-store experience. This role plays a key part in driving brand awareness, engagement, and sales across social media, website, email, and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands luxury aesthetics, and can translate products and experiences into compelling visual and written content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Create original photo, video, and written content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, website, email campaigns, and digital ads.
  • Capture high-quality product photography and short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikToks), including watches, jewelry, packaging, and in-store moments.
  • Edit photos and videos to align with JD Watches’ luxury brand standards.
  • Assist with lifestyle and campaign shoots, events, and showroom content.

Social Media Support

  • Support day-to-day content needs for social media channels.
  • Assist with content scheduling and posting according to the marketing calendar.
  • Monitor engagement and provide basic performance feedback (what’s working, trends, audience response).

Brand & Storytelling

  • Ensure all content reflects JD Watches’ tone: luxury, trust, expertise, and authenticity.
  • Help tell the story behind each timepiece, including craftsmanship, condition, provenance, and service.
  • Maintain consistency in visuals, captions, and messaging across all platforms.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to align content with inventory, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, influencers, or external partners as needed.
  • Assist with content for special initiatives (events, partnerships, launches, service offerings).

Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain a content library of photos, videos, and brand assets.
  • Ensure proper naming, storage, and easy retrieval of content for future use.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Content Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing photography, video, and/or social media content.
  • Proficiency with content tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially Instagram and TikTok.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual consistency.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Interest or background in luxury goods, watches, jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
