The State of Alabama is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a large-scale healthcare IT initiative focused on Prior Authorization (PA) and API integration. This role will serve as the central coordinator-or "quarterback"-for the internal projects team, ensuring seamless execution across assessment and API development efforts.
- Lead and manage internal project teams through the full lifecycle of healthcare IT initiatives
- Oversee large-scale assessment and API implementation projects
- Act as the primary client-facing liaison, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet project milestones and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and Prior Authorization protocols
Salary - $30.00/hour up to $35.00/hour

Proven experience managing large-scale healthcare IT projects
Strong understanding of Prior Authorization (PA) processes and systems
Hands-on experience with API development and integration in healthcare settings
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
