Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Senior Product Marketing Manager for the instrument‑focused portfolio at Bio-Techne. The role will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for leading global marketing efforts for our ImmunoAssay portfolio. This individual will develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, drive customer engagement, and support commercial success across key immunoassay product lines, including Simple Plex, Multiplex platforms and related consumables. The role requires strong cross‑functional leadership, deep market and technical knowledge, and a passion for translating complex science into compelling messaging that resonates with researchers in academia, biotech, pharma, and the clinical sectors. This position is available as a fully remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the global marketing strategy for the immunoassay portfolio, aligned with business objectives.
- Craft compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, and messaging frameworks.
- Design, build, and execute high‑impact go‑to‑market (GTM) campaigns/programs to drive revenue growth in key customer segments such as immuno‑oncology, cell and gene therapy, neuroscience and drug development.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic multi‑channel integrated marketing plans to acquire and convert new customers and engage, retain, and grow existing customers.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into actionable insights that inform product and marketing decisions.
- Serve as the global product and market expert, providing in‑depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, and critical market success factors.
- Lead campaign development for new product launches and demand generation initiatives in collaboration with regional marketing and commercial teams.
- Work closely with digital marketing, brand, and marcom teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs.
- Partner with R&D and product management to guide new product development and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with product management and scientific applications teams to develop and promote high‑value content, including testimonials, seminars, webinars, posters, and sales tools for new and existing products.
- Develop and deliver product launch toolkits that provide impactful new product messaging and education to our commercial teams, including product training, positioning, key messaging, and customer‑facing materials.
- Develop relevant content across the marketing funnel; deploy via multiple channels that align with customer journeys.
- Maintain campaign/program KPI and metrics dashboards, perform pipeline analysis, and analyse demand generation trends regularly, reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities. Adjust tactics as needed to maximise performance.
- Manage marketing budgets and optimise the promotional mix on campaigns/programs to achieve a high return on investment.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry with at least 5 years in a product marketing function.
- Experience in product marketing for immunoassays and within clinical or pre‑clinical sectors is highly desirable.

- Able to develop and communicate the unique value and promise that Bio‑Techne products offer to life science research customers.
- Able to understand, integrate and synthesize insights across customers, competitors, business areas and markets to inform customer‑centric campaigns for our instrument portfolio.
- Able to develop and execute multi‑channel customer‑centric marketing programs to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in developing successful lead generation initiatives using multi‑channel strategies to drive funnel fulfilment.
- Able to work effectively in a fast‑growing, highly collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills at all organisational levels.
